BiG TeA PaRtY’s mission is to promote a sustainable living trinity — nutrition, environmentalism and community service — a practical, rewarding lifestyle where one’s actions won’t have a negative effect on future generations.
We use digital media, the written word and public events to share ideas for leading a creative, low-impact, low-cost, politically engaged lifestyle. We embrace the DIY ‘do it yourself’ philosophy which emphasizes the power of the individual.

Our goal is to use our films, articles, art and multimedia website to generate a dialogue with people of all types on how they can be agents of social change by engaging in environmentalism, community activism and the politics of food.
Speak to us! Ask us questions here. Our philosophy is action oriented. Start a dialog of your own.

Big TeA PaRtY has presented their films, sometimes in conjunction with nutritional demonstrations, in neighborhood settings, schools, shopping malls, super markets, movie theaters, out door events and at conferences. But the main venue of our work over the past eight years has been television.
In this growing climate of media consolidation independent sources of information and individual storytelling are vital to keeping our media and informational diet diverse, vibrant and questioning the status quo. Please support us and our work, it can be a scary, lonely world out there.

BiG TeA PaRtY also creates educational tools, in the form of video and the written word, which are then used by other organizations to further their causes.
Some organizations and how they have used our educational tools:

Since 1989, BiG TeA PaRtY has been a maverick in the use of applying high quality artistic creativity and a lively sense of fun to topics which are often dealt with in a dry and somber manner. A reporter for the Chicago Tribune said “BiG TeA PaRtY host Elizabeth Fiend was the only person on TV who was combining artistic flights of fancy with straightforward arguments and substantive you-are-there reporting.”
BiG TeA PaRtY: We’re here to provide nourishment and seed enthusiasm for personal and social change. Remember, we love you. Leave comments!
