Renew your skin. Take a bath to sooth the stiff muscles after a winter of inactivity.
Epsom salts = magnesium sulfate
Baking soda = sodium bicarbonate

makes enough for 4 Baths

Tip: USE RIGHT AWAY AS THE NATURAL SCENTS DON’T LAST FOREVER

Bath salts are simple to prepare and make great gifts, either for yourself or for your friends.

Homemade = better
Mass produced = chemical-laden products

The invigorating scents orange and rosemary, the herb of remembrance / memory star in this recipe.
But you can try any pleasing combination of scents.

BASIC MINERAL BATH RECIPE:
Mix in a plastic container:
3 parts Epson salts (3/4 cup)

2 parts baking soda (1/2 cup)
1 part kosher salt (1/4 cup)
Mix well / shake container

Add: 1 teaspoon ground rosemary

Add drops of food coloring until desired color is achieved
Mix with spoon and hands until totally blended and smooth

Add: 2 teaspoons of orange extract or essential oil of orange
(orange extract will only hold its scent for a short while)
Mix with spoon and hands until totally blended and smooth

Spoon ΒΌ cup into a plastic bag or pretty container
twist tie bag / close
Add a label for gifts, wrap in fabric or tie with pretty bows
Re-LaX
Add bath salts to the tub while the water is running

    Maybe you can keep the bath salts scent if you keep it in an air tight container. Or maybe you can add more drops of essential oil depending on how long you intend to keep the bath salt.
